Along with his three-year-old son, Daigoro, they seek revenge on the Yagyû clan and are known as "Lone Wolf and Cub" assassin for hire. Yorozuya's portrayal of Ôgami in the series, is said to be more faithful to the manga than the Wakayama films. Considering the lenght and number of episodes this can only be expected.
